Vitamin A: “ Vitamin A (VitA) is a micronutrient that is crucial for maintaining vision, promoting growth and development, and protecting epithelium and mucus integrity in the body. VitA is known as an anti-inflammation vitamin because of its critical role in enhancing immune function. VitA is involved in the development of the immune system and plays regulatory roles in cellular immune responses and humoral immune processes. VitA has demonstrated a therapeutic effect in the treatment of various infectious diseases.” -Nation Natural Science Foundation of China’s

Vitamin C: “ Vitamin C is an essential micronutrient for humans, with pleiotropic functions related to its ability to donate electrons. It is a potent antioxidant and a cofactor for a family of biosynthetic and gene regulatory enzymes. Vitamin C contributes to immune defense by supporting various cellular functions of both the innate and adaptive immune system. Vitamin C supports epithelial barrier function against pathogens and promotes the oxidant scavenging activity of the skin, thereby potentially protecting against environmental oxidative stress. Vitamin C accumulates in phagocytic cells, such as neutrophils, and can enhance chemotaxis, phagocytosis, generation of reactive oxygen species, and ultimately microbial killing. It is also needed for apoptosis and clearance of the spent neutrophils from sites of infection by macrophages, thereby decreasing necrosis/NETosis and potential tissue damage. The role of vitamin C in lymphocytes is less clear, but it has been shown to enhance differentiation and proliferation of B- and T-cells, likely due to its gene regulating effects. ”

“Supplementation with vitamin C appears to be able to both prevent and treat respiratory and systemic infections.” -Department of Pathology, University of Otago.

Vitamin K:“A role for vitamin K in cardiovascular and skeletal health has been reported.Vitamin K also is associated with a decreased production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in in vitro studies.

The mechanisms by which vitamin K influences biomarkers of inflammation are not known, although there is some suggestion that vitamin K suppresses inflammation by decreasing expression of genes for individual cytokines, such as interleukin-6 and osteoprotegerin“ -USDA Human

I mix the powder with raw honey and all of my kids eat it right up!

Great idea! Mixing vitamin c with honey is called Honey Spoons and it's great for sore throats and coughs!

Amazing!

I have a kid who doesn’t like to swallow pills but love this! You can add to juice to really hide it if needed!

Roll the dice…

Sometimes I love the product. Sometimes I don’t. This time it’s a definite no. The contents vary too much. This time, the product doesn’t mix well and it tastes horrible. The shipping takes forever. I’m not sure I’ll reorder when we run out, and that makes me sad.

Hi Kristina,

Thanks for the feedback, and sorry to hear you are disappointed. We are committed to using organic fruit powders free of GMO's and pesticides, because of this, the flavor in our blends can fluctuate depending on the availability of organic fruit powders. While the flavor and color may vary from time to time, the efficacy and healing benefits remain the same.
Shipping during the Fall/Winter/Holiday season is always extended, we receive a large influx of orders this time of year as customers stock up in preparation for cold and flu season. As a small 2-man team, this does put an extension on how quickly we can ship. For faster shipping times, we hope you'll give us another shot during our slower seasons; Spring and Summer.

For blending the powders into liquid, use a handheld frother. Game changer!
